Yes there is a smell initially, but that is typical of all products made with TPE. With proper washing and powdering it will lessen over time. The positives are overwhelming. The doll was delivered before the promised date during the mad Christmas shopping season. The doll was delivered exactly as promised with correct body, hair, and custom green eyes.
